Other Replys:Hi. I think the first step she should learn is what colors go together well if she already doesnt know.

after that i would give her the task of learning how to write HTML code and CSS,

after that let her go to work making banners and link bars..

after that give her a project and see what she can come up with.

Other Replys:You%26#039;re going to open an office of website solutions and you don%26#039;t know anything about websites? How is that going to work?

Other Replys:You%26#039;re opening your own office, and you can%26#039;t even spell? Be careful, because ANY programming language (even web languages) require clear, concise and accurately spelled commands, instructions, and syntax.

She%26#039;s only 11 years old. Are you sure this is what SHE wants to do? Why not let her grow up, and be a kid? Maybe she wants to be a basketball player? Would you deprive her of the joy of basketball (if, so be, that this IS her interest, for instance)?

The very 1st step is to find out what SHE wants.

Other Replys:Well sir, I suggest that you recive a software such as Dreamweaver MX. This software will allow your daughter to be able to achieve all web designing tasks; and along with Sony Vegas Video editing and Flashplayer animation software, she will be able to produce all needed media such as intro videos and animations. As for training, use the tutorials that come with the softwares.

Other Replys:Well you can%26#039;t really make her interested in it or make her want to do web design. She should decide for herself what she%26#039;s interested in. Has she shown an interest in this?

Other Replys:Sir try out these softwares.HTML,n basic java script n the microsoft office package FRONTPAGE.when she gets a hold of these stuff ,make her learn frontend and backend works using SQL server.photoshop n dreamweaver, flash softwares will also be useful but let her mature more so that she can understand n grasp the programming concepts

Other Replys:Allow me, please, to suggest a different approach. And, I%26#039;m not picking on you. Teach her to write. It%26#039;ll come in handy. Unfortunately, very few webmasters take it seriously enough!

They end up with websites that%26#039;re hard to read, unnerving for visitors. I have clients who write what the CLIENTS think is important rather than what the website visitors WILL READ (which is actually, precious little, in the few scant moments someone visits a website!)

Fetch her a copy of the book, %26quot;Don%26#039;t Make Me Think!%26quot; by Steve Krug. It takes about 2 hours to read, and it%26#039;s not terribly technical, and it%26#039;ll challenge her to THINK about making a really good website!

Other Replys:Avoid w3schools and start with this site...
