This is for all those great HP Fans like me who have read all six books and are looking for more HP stuff till the 7th book is released in July 2007...

I%26#039;ve written a Harry Potter Book.. though i can%26#039;t get it published cuz of copyright restrictions. I wrote a fan fiction version of Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix and have got quite a bit of appreciation for it. What kind of reactions have you had so far? I have a number of friends who are more HP fans than I am, so far all I%26#039;ve done is watched the films.

Had you though of trying to contact JK Rowling and say that you love her work and had a little go at writing something in a similar vein using the characters she created? I think she is published by Bloomsbury but any website search will find that out. The publishers administer the copyright, so as with MP3 downloading, be very careful what you do and where you go with this.

She has said in the past that she is only ever going to write 7 Harry Potter novels and all are eventually going to be made into films. How about you apply for permission to use the characters and continue where she will leave off next year.... providing she doesn%26#039;t kill off her creation (but then again voldemort is dead and he%26#039;s still around) so there is a possibilty.

Failing that, why not try writing original works?

I%26#039;ll review your book, but, I believe if you put your same passions into your own fresh ideas, you can stake your claim on your own book.

We don%26#039;t wish to take away from the hard road that the author of Harry Potter has endured, to get where she is today.

Everyone was ready for this adventure, just reading the books and listening to the tapes; eager for more adventures while growing up with the characters and being able to relate to them easily.
