It must depend a lot on how large and mature the business is and what type of business it is. For example, a large corporation probably doesn%26#039;t take a chance subcontracting it%26#039;s networking and server facilities to the typical hosting facility. Nor could a bank, hospital, government or records data bank because the data is too critical. They want organic control over the hosting facility, meaning they%26#039;re the boss and not somebody else. Essentially they own their own servers. But a small start up business may find it most efficient to outsource it%26#039;s hosting operations.
